about

Bring You To Me is Written for a good friend of mine Bronwen Pendleton, who lost her husband Chris to Cancer a year ago. It is written from her perspective about this picture taken of him after diagnosis. It’s the anniversary of his passing and I will be raising money for the great work done at Overgate Hospice to continue via bandcamp. I’m sure they have helped many people you know as they have with me. Anything you can do to help it’s launch will be a great help.. Share, comment, download the song (give to Overgate), tell a friend. Love as always, Craig 🖤

lyrics

Looking out where water leaves,
takes its chance and goes to the sea,
Were you thinking of them, were you thinking of me?

With something inside tearing you up,
Refusing to acknowledge our love,
It will never know what it’s taken from me.

But I’ve got to believe that il see you again, it’s something I hold onto, that death is not the end, and it will bring you to me.

I’m glad we took time to make memories,
Talking of nothing walking through the trees,
The rain stayed away like it was giving us time.

As it was taking your body it could not take your soul,
you’d rather choose to go, than lose control,
A strength that once was yours and is now mine.

But I’ve got to believe that il see you again, it’s something I hold onto, that death is not the end, and it will bring you to me.
